Okay, so here is my super quick entry to the Heinz contest. It was a really short shoot and really quick edit, so I know there are some things wrong with it, but I thought I would offer it up anyway. The sound is my biggest problem with it. Anyway, here ya go. Remember, it's YOUTUBE...not the greatest quality.

I didn't notice what was wrong with it. Tell me what's wrong and I'll take a look at it. The logo looked fine to me. If you're talking about expanding it to be the whole screen, I'm not a fan due to the entire screen being red. Just doesn't look good to me. Aside from that, I can't do much more to it since the contest is near over. Thanks so much for your input though.

Congrats, very great spot. But personally i don't like the lights. The Heinz is not red, it's colorless.
I think that a commercial should have a different light, more invasive, more colorful, but maybe i'm totally wrong........
 
No, you're totally right. I had two 500w Tota lights and still couldn't get enough light in the room without pouring the light on the guy and bottle, but then I'd get these harsh, hard, artificial shadows and that never looks great. Also take into account that it's youtube. ha. But, again, you're right. The lighting was lacking (as was the sound...forgot my XLR plugs, so I had to use the on-board mic and EQ the buh-jeezus out of it). Thanks for the comment.
