Heinz Competition Entry - An Unexpected Evening

Hey guys, just wanted some quick feedback on this VO at the end. It's mine, and since I hate the sound of my own voice, I'm having a hard time listening to this subjectively, and would love some input as to whether you think it works as is, or if I should lose the ending VO.

This is one of three spec commercials Ryan Walters (235 Studios) and I did for the Heinz Top This TV Challenge.

I've got the HD version available on my server, but the rules are unclear enough to give me pause about putting the link here on the web until after the competition is over. If any one is desperate to see the HD version, just PM me. Shot with HVX200, M2 adatper/Nikon lenses, and cut on Sony's Vegas): http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=NormSanders

You'll see two clips, both with the same name except the second one says 'no VO'.

Look forward to your thoughts!

BTW, some who have seen some of my past work will recognize the talented Rebecca L. Dunn ... she does a GREAT job playing a dumb blonde in here (so not how she is in real life), and a new talent I've started to work with, Shan Applegate.

Chantelle liked it better with VO, I liked it better without. But, then we discussed it. The problem is the pronunciation, you mumble 'Heinz' too much. Your voice sounds good and fits it, and "competition" is pronounced nice, but Heinz is just too mumbly. Re-record the VO and be proud of the Heinz!

Thanks, Shawn. Tell Chantelle I appreciate her thoughts! After giving it more thought, I think for that particular spec, the voice over (at least with my voice) kind of comes out of no where, and perhaps is a tad jolting. As such, I think it works as well if not better without, and submitted the version without for the contest.
