Heinz commercial contest

The average price to produce a nationally broadcast 30-second TV spot is around $350,000. That's just production -- agency time and/or media commission is extra.

That is my first entry. I made it two days ago as a joke. I do better work I promise. lol. Most of you have seen my stuff even though you don't know me by name(screen name).

I've got a couple ideas brewing but unfortunately don't have as much time as I usually do for this because I'm leaving June 1st to go to NY for my ad internship. And I don't have all my equipment as I'm on vacation (back "home" in Puerto Rico).

I'll try to whip something up but can't guarantee it will be reel material haha.

Post yours up when you complete them. The DVX board users make good stuff so it should be good competition if you guys really go through with it. Just don't forget to start a thread when you do ;)

I thought so. The rainbow seizure machine with misspelled brand name and product along with the tender sound effect of Tibby the Dog.

Note: Tibby the Dog does not really exist.

Subnote: If you ever get a dog and name it "Tibby" I will sue as I just proposed an understood mental patent on it.

"Only open to residents of the 50 United States"? That's countryist if you ask me. And sure, maybe we don't actually have Heinz "Ketchup" down here, but we do have Heinz "Tomato Sauce" and that's more fun anyway!

No $57,000 USD for me... Bah! Humbug!!

I'm actually pretty siked for this contest....Gotta film it this weekend....I can't wait to see what you guys come up with.....The ones on that site are el horriblay.....:)
