Heaven Movie!

cool!

cool!

pretty good! How do you like using the Letus Flip FE with the HVX? What lenses did you use? Did it lose a lot of light and did you use it indoors?

How much of the movie was shot with the Letus?

I am thinking of getting one after the M2 was too much for our budget.

I shot mainly close up dialog with the Letus 35. This was a fast movie to do and I was working out of my car in Calif. Next one will be much slower and more setup time on lighting etc. It does the job for what you pay. Most of it was hand held which could be a problem using a Redrock etc. or one needing rods.
I will shoot more DOF next time with the HVX itself, but love the DOF I'm getting with the Letus..until I land a big deal!!!!! lol

Yes...I shot it indoors and had to crank up the light!!! You have to zoom in around 86 on up to 99 on the HVX and focus around 47 and you're in!

Looks like a really interesting premise and a pretty great trailer! I really loved the voiceover, and the MUSIC! THe music really sold everything!

Ok, the trailer VO was really bad, and the premise sounds very very cheesy... typical cheese Christian fare here... I am sorry, some of the shots looked pretty good though.

Recording has been my thing for 24 years. I've only entered the film arena the last 2. I was a Radio Announcer in my hey day! RKO network in Calif..
I produced and played all the instruments on the score....and I'm 57 so I better get with it before it's too late!!!

Anybody needing VO..I'll take good care of you and have plenty of buddies who can handle the job also.

congrats on the contract! Havent watched the movie yet but the trailer looked nice. I'd go for more character development of Jimmy though - I just didnt have any interest in him at the end of it. Looks like he died and did a ghost of christmas past tour and then comes back to life and is grateful for everything etc etc... just didnt leave me with any questions or wanting to watch. And I'm with Brandon on the VO - I like the voice but the pacing is tooooo draaaawwn ooooouuuuut. I'd go a bit quick ala Don LaFontaine (does anyone else want him to come live with you so you can make him say things and make phone calls for you? Maybe thats just me...)

2 thumbs up
the VO for the trailer is pretty sweet.. perfect for the trailer
