The acting is uniformly honest, natural, and spontaneous. Please share any directing advice.
I also enjoyed the lighting, simple and soft. Was that intentional or just ambient and accidental? Again, please share any advice.
The script I have a mixed opinion of. I'm a hopeless romantic and was drawn by the premise. And the narrative has a poetic or lyrical flow, maybe aided by the subtle but wall-to-wall soundtrack. Foreign tongues are cool, too. But the situations are too everyday, and the structure too limp. The protagonist is passive, except for a few decisions that actually drain compassion.
Despite some long sentences, the dialog is not bad. And again, the actors deliver their lines pitch perfectly. Even though I took you to task for the script, I enjoyed this movie much more than most little independent films I've seen. Thanks for sharing!
