LoL. I got a 100-300 F5 zoom. DOF isn't an issue. Just not my kinda camera, which is totally fine right?

=D If anyone wants to buy just let me know!

I've done the 135mm stabilizer test. I'm just re-rendering cause the H.264 for vimeo fooked up the gamma.

oi you took yours down, I wanted to compare them.

I actually took it down on accident .Gonna re-upload. Link when you've got it up though.

Yeah I will, it's gonna take at least a couple of hours. I shot about 90% of it with the 135 and the rest with the 85.

I'm not meaning to grill you on your decision, just trying to better understand your reasons. Are you getting out of the DSLR/video thing all together or have you decided that you prefer some other company's solution?

Hey Ethan, No worries.

I'm selling the MKii because it just doesn't work out for me. I love the image, @ 46" of screen real-estate it's jaw dropping man. But the camera's ergonomics, the 30P, battery life and jello are all bugging me to death.

I sold my GH-1 to wait for the US release, I miss it very very badly. So definitely staying on the VDSLR path as it's going to improve drastically in the next few months.

Perhaps the rumored 60D will be the Canon camera that I add to my arsenal.

what if canon brings out 24p firmware in a couple of weeks?

Then I hope you guys enjoy your 24p MKii's!!! Haha. It's not like the MKii is a great expense for me. If it gets 24p sometime (anytime) soon then I'll go try it out again.

Right now I'm just going to get my two GH-1's, try some 3D out, have fun while trying to make it through Pre-Pro on this feature.

MKii's overall image is incredible, jaw dropping. I'mma miss it!
