heads-up on Lenmar batteries and the Af100

Hi,
Just a note that we got some Lenmar LIZ370P batteries. The AF100
periodically says that the battery is not compatible. This on both of our
Af100's and with two different LIZ370P's ...we're sending them back .. but
I caution against using these.. Doesn't happen all the time .. but when it happens,
it's a big problem.

Received Lenmar batteries this week ... NOT GOOD. There is some slop between the battery and the camera, causing the camera to shut off... I haven't seen any compatibility message from the camera though...

Shipping them back.

On a side note, I used Lenmar on my HPX170, and it was great... but no good on the AF...

Just a note: Lenmar is aware of the fit issue, and is working on it.

well... then it would be nice they modify or take the defective batteries from sales...

I've seen this message too. I'm leery of using the one that I bought. I'm going to replace it. I've had it for over a month. Would they really take it back? If they are aware of it what recourse will they provide us?

I returned mine to where we purchased it . they were gracious enough to send us replacement IDX batteries
overnight. They had heard similar complaints from other customers.

I am using Maximal Power batteries purchased on Ebay. I have had no problems.

We got the IDX SSL-VBG50's .. they work well and have a power indicator (which is nice).
