Headphones for Dvx100b

Just wondering what the best headphones for this camera would be and what you guys are using?

I'm looking at the Sennheiser HD 280 Pro Circumaural, 64 Ohm headphone but I'm not sure if the impedence match will work well for monitoring. In Barry's book, he mentions to match the impedance, which in this camera is 100 Ohm and these phones are 64 Ohm. Is this acceptable?

Will the audio levels be loud enough to monitor audio properly?

Thanks,

Steve

I use a Telex ear piece for monitoring my primary audio channel. The second channel is most always nat sound... and I trust the DVX to provide me with excellent audio levels (when set properly), so I rarely listen to it... besides I instinctively see the levels in the viewfinder.

Now... I do own a set of (Sony) heavy padded cup headphones for when outside noise (event) levels are way too high... They weren't too terribly expensive... I don't use them that much...

I use the Sony 7506 headphones - full muff so you hear what is being recorded. Got lazy the other day filming a sand sculpting competition - is was hot, so I used a cheap pair of over-the-ear headphones and just kept an eye on the audio levels. Reviewing the tape later - I had a hum on the audio - which occurred when my talent was close to the PA system there (I used a wireless Sony mic). Lesson learned - use full muff to make sure I'm recording what I think I'm recording.
