Headphone level control

While shooting an interview today, I could hear nothing through the headphones.
I relied on the level meters and everything was fine - but I need to be able to monitor.
Is there a menu setting for the volume of the phones - or a control somewhere I'm missing? A few days ago they worked fine....and yes, the headphones work fine when plugged in elsewhere.

The volume buttons above the LCD can be used to completely mute the headphone level. Provided you had the headphones plugged all the way in, I would guess that is the culprit.

Are you missing the volume control on top of the camera beside the menu button?

Thanks, that was the problem. Wasn't aware of those - probably hit them when
fumbling for the menu buttons. One day I will know every function of this cam.

I remember looking all over for the level control after getting the camera. Don't feel bad for missing it.

Yep. Learned that lesson once too when all I had was a 100A. Glad that was all it was for you.
