Headphone jack?

Has anyone used something like this on DSLR's that don't have a headphone jack?

I'm curious if it wold be loud enough for use with headphones.

Depends on the DSLR, not all of them send full time audio over HDMI.

Its got potential though thats for sure.

I own a Marshall V-LCD70MD monitor that has a built-in headphone jack on the front face...

Panasonic GH2 HDMI : No audio at all
