Hi, I hope this won't end up becoming a repost but I couldnt find a similar problem in the forum.
My problem is listed below
I have a Canon HV40 and under Avid MC 4 or 5 when I want to capture HDV 30P or HDV 24P F footage the presets for 1080p 29.97 doesnt accept the 30P footage (gives a unsported format error) plus there is no 24frame preset to open as a project, the weird thing is when i open a 1080i 59,94 frame preset i can capture and export 30p HDV footage which doesnt make sense for progressive footage being captured under interlaced project settings. Could someone explain me about the right way to capture those formats i mentioned above? thank you
