I am going to mount the f3 to a steadicam Zephyer. we will be recording to a Nanoflash HD 1080 60i, the steadicam monitor is only a NTSC composite monitor. for the life of me i can't figure out how to out to the HDSDI signal and the video signal at the same time. Am i dumb is this possible?

To output SD. You have to set video menu to SD, but now your SDI is now a SD signal not HD. So use the A port for 60i HD and the video for composite.

You can output composite SD out of the video socket at the same time as HD 1080 SDI from output 'A'... but only as progressive frames.

Unfortunately, you can't get interlaced from outputs 'A' or 'B'.

Unfortunately, AbelCine's article says: "Another advantage of the Dual Link outputs is that they always come out at the same frequency as the rest of the camera"

Is this right? I can't get interlaced out of the Dual Link outputs which is what the original poster needed.

Yes and no. If camera is set to 60i, interlaced is outputted to A. If 24 or 30P is selected, A output is PSF. Interlaced and PSF selectable selection is only affecting SDI out.
The original poster wanted composite. All is needed is to set camera to 60i use the A port to Nano. Set to output SD out and use the composite video out.
