Just to let you guys know, that even as I read tons of posting on the internet claiming that the FX7 does not work with Final Cut Pro 6, I bought one, conected it to my Quad G5 with FCS2 and it works, evething worked just like with my old HC3. So all I can say, is get a better FW cable. good luck.
