HDMI Output Mirroring

Hi guys...just plugged in an external LCD monitor via HDMI to the A7s and it seems to automatically turn off the on-camera LCD as well. Any way to override that or have some control on the output?
 
Mine does not turn off the A7s LCD or VF when hooking up HDMI, to an O7Q or Marshal, Panys LCD. So there must be a setting.

I did turn off info on external screen, that is the only change to HDMI settings I made. Maybe try resetting all your settings to default.
 
Ahhh...when you turn off External Info in the HDMI settings it sends a clean HDMI feed and displays normally on the built in LCD. These menus can be confusing....thanks!
