GH2 HDMI out question

So I'm looking to ditch the mini-hdmi adapter I use on my camera and go with a dedicated hdmi to hdmi-mini cable. Has anyone had any experience with these cables that they've used to output to a monitor? I'm looking for a 25ft cable but I was wondering if the length of the cable makes any difference in that it might lose signal going from the camera to the monitor. Also, is there a certain type of cable I should look for? Some of the ones I'm seeing online say they support ethernet and 3D. Things I know I don't need but I'm wondering if the additions of those might mess up the signal from the camera.

mini-HDMI to HDMI works just as good as HDMI to HDMI but YES you will lose quality the longer your cable is. As long as your using the 25' cable for strictly viewing on a field monitor and not recording to an external device, you'll be fine. That's why with large camera crane work you want a camera with SDI so you can run LONG cables. As far as HDMI types, just look for one that says "supports HD video". You can find them easily at B&H.
