If anyone could shed some light on recording the HDMI out of the D5200, it would be MUCH appreciated!
I have the following:
1. D5200
2. HDMI to HDMI mini cable
3. Blackmagic Design Intensity Shuttle USB 3.0
I just installed the Shuttle, but it looks like it's working.
I've set the D5200's HDMI output to 1080p (progressive). But I can only get the Intensity Shuttle to record the D5200's HDMI video signal if the Shuttle is set to 720P 59.94. All other project sizes just record audio. I thought, "Well maybe that's what the Shuttle calls 1080P 23.976 recorded inside a 60i stream?" But I inspected the footage in After Effects, and it looks like 720P to me. But I could be missing something.
Any help would be very much appreciated!!
P.S. I tried pulling the card out, but that just gives an error message on the screen "No memory card." and the Intensity Shuttle won't record the signal at any project rate.
