HDMI input to Alphatron

Just purchased the Alphatron EVF. I get SDI input but when I switch to HDMI, nothing. I've tried everything I can think of. The camera outputs HDMI to a display sooooo...
Any ideas?

On the side of the alphatron one of the button should say source, hold that down and it switches between sdi and hdmi.

Yeah, I know. When I switch that to HDMI it says "no signal". Cable seems fine. I'll call Abel CIne, they sold it to me.

Supposedly there's something weird about the FS100 and FS700 HDMi signal. Cineroid found out about this and corrected it with a firmware update.
I figure it might be the same thing going on here?

Thank you for that. I will check with Abel. I'll be honest. I usually feel like they are trying to get me the hell out of their showroom as fast as possible. Not exactly warm fuzzy customer service.
I know it's only $12,000 worth of merchandise to them, but it's $12,000 from my shallow pockets, lol....

Anyways... I haven't tried the Alphatron, but the new Cineroid is very nice after the FW fix. Dual waveform, vectorscope, false color.. and so on and so on. My biggest gripe with it is the PC software for the firmware updates. But apart from that, I think Cineroid really owned up to the things that needed changing from their earlier models.

Try switching output resolutions on fs700. From memory might be 1080i (not 1080p) on hdmi. Think it might be 720 or similar on sdi.

Not sure if this will change with a coming paid/unpaid fw update for 4k. It might ungimp the 3gsdi that was working on preproduction models ...

I'll take a stab. In the menu DISPLAY SET, the DISPLAY OUTPUT should be set to ALL OUTPUT.
