HDMI gone bad?

I'm on set, & my HDMI output seems to gone bad. In general the Zacuto EVF cannot detect a signal, & if it does the picture is very bad, or the screen goes a funky color with no actual picture.

Tried two different cables, & reset the menus, but with no luck. The EVF is working with a 5D2 so I believe the camera's at fault.

Any ideas short of sending out for repair?

Thanks,
Bern

Thanks for quick responses!

Seems the cables are fine, & 24psf is off, so I'll drop the cam off at the local Service Center.

Best,
Bern

Mine went bad- I suspect my locking hdmi cables were the culprit. I brought to Pana in NJ and dropped it off. They called me at the end of the day and said they tested it and nothing was wrong. I then proceeded to tell them all the tests I went through and how it was used- the rep then decided i knew what I was talking about and held it for observation-- one day later-- "we replaced the HDMI port"... its working again and im loving my zacuto evf...BTW, the folks at Panasonic service were really good to work with.

Panasonic replaced the HDMI port, & board, but I've been traveling, & haven't picked up the camera yet. The repair was quick, & the local Service Center was pleasant to deal with.

This camera's been worked hard in some rough locations so I'm not surprised the HDMI failed, & look forward to a professional quality HD-SDI EVF.
