HDMI Cable Question

I am planning to purchase an HMC150 and would like to send the unprocessed signal to a MacPro with BM Intensity via HDMI for chroma key work. The camera/studio is in a separate room from the capture station, so I'll need to use a 50' HDMI cable. Do I need to get a Category 2 cable, or will a standard HDMI cable suffice? The difference in cost is about $100.

Thanks,
Ron

I'm not exactly sure, but I use a standard 25' and its works great. If you have the doe and want the best possible quality you should always get the best cables.

Thanks, Mad. What are you using for capture, Mac or PC? Which program/codec are you using (FCP/ProRes, etc.)? Any additional input would be appreciated.
