HD100 or XL2 for TV commercials ?

Could someone who has work with the XL2 AND the HD100 tell me which camera is the best for TV commercials (SD) ?

Just used the XL2, my HD101E is still on it's way - although I used it a couple of times already... The XL2 will do very, very well, but I'm positive the control on the JVC is better (Since it's a fully manual lens and IMHO far superior to the 20x canon servo...)
 
Sorry...I mean the XL2 with the (I'm old school...) manual lense compared to HD100.

What do you think about the XL2 lattitude ?
 
Well, I obviously assume you need the camcorder for 16/9 SD. Well, me too, but I like the HD100 better. Only the better balance makes it worth while, but the cost is a lot higher ofcourse, whereas the quality is perfect on both...
