I have been shooting in 720p at 24pn and editing in 720p 24p in Adobe Premiere. But I am starting to do some outside night shoots and the lights available don't make for the best shots. I know that I can get better shots with the camera though... I am thinking about shooting in 1080i 24p, I was using the PN mode to save P2 space, but at this point if 1080i 24p will make that much of a dramatic difference in sharpness and clarity then I will start shooting in 1080i 24p. But my other question is that Adobe only offers to edit in 1080i 60i, there isn't an option to edit 1080i 24p in it, so do I edit in 60i?
Thanks

1080/24p will give you sharper footage than 720/24p. Not a LOT sharper, but about 15% or so. But there's no "pN" in 1080, so it will take up 2.5x as much space on your cards.

For your project settings, choose DVCPROHD 1080p->1080p24.
