I’m getting married in September, and wanted to ask for an advice regarding a video package for the wedding.
Would you recommend going with HD or SD? I thought since it’s a once in a life time event (I hope) doesn’t it make sense to shoot on HD and at a later point burn it on the appropriate medium? Why do most videographers still shoot in SD?
Also, I have seen quite a few wedding videos and while some are great most of them are very cheesy, full of clichés, and cheap transitions.
I have done some editing before and would like to edit the footage myself. Do you think I can hire a videograoher to just shoot the wedding and give us the raw footage?
And one more question. Can anyone recommend a video rental place in Philadelphia where I can rent a DVX200 or HVX200 for my wedding?
