HD uprez help - scene settings and editing

So I've seen videos on Youtube. Vimeo of some great uprezzed DVX100B footage. So I've been doing research and trying that out myself. It's not working out too well. I'm not sure if it's my scene settings, what I'm doing in post or something else. So i'm going to list my scene settings, post screenshots of my editing import and export settings and link you to the Youtube final product. Then if you could possibly post your scene settings, import/export settings and if you have one an example of it on Youtube/Vimeo that'd be great!

Scene settings (everything at 0 except for):
Deatil level: -3
Master Ped: -5
Gamma: Cinelike
Knee: Auto
Matrix: Cinelike
Skin tone: Off
V Detail Freq: Thin
24pA

I'm using Premiere CS5, here are my import settings:

There is also something wrong with the FPS on the exported version, you'll see when watching the final video:

NLEs aren't very good at resizing video (they all pretty much suck at it - even downscaling). Take a look at using AviSynth to do upscaling (using Lanczos or Spline resizing filters).
 
I also had a lok into AviSynth and have no idea how to use it, could you possibly show me an example uprez script for an avi?
