HD Streaming via Firewire from HPX170 with Wirecast

Hi Guys,

First post- TERRIFIED HERE. I'll do my best.

Here's what I've got:
  • Windows 7 PC
  • 2 Blackmagic Intensity Pro cards
  • 2 PCI Firewire cards
  • Panasonic HPX-170
  • Sony HDR-SR11
  • Wirecast (with the HDV upgrade)
We're doing a video game streaming show on justin.tv. We've got an Xbox360 feed going HDMI into one of the Blackmagic cards. We've got the Sony SR11 going Component into the other Blackmagic card. I would like to use the HPX170 in one of our firewire ports, but when I connect it up, I can't get it to work.

That is, I can't get an HD feed from the camera into Wirecast. The only time I can get it to work is when I set the HPX to SD mode, which is undesirable. Can I not do it in 720p or 1080i? Is this a limitation of Firewire on PC? I've been able to use this same camera via firewire on a Macbook in HD and it's totally fine! I feel like I'm missing something totally stupid, would love any help here.
