Hey Everyone,
We are on a tight budget to get a little stand-up shot from a writer/director in the New York area. This is a very simple thing of him looking at camera and saying a couple lines. That is it.
GEAR: Panasonic HVX200 or Canon HV20 shooting 24P high definition. A professional lav mic or shotgun mic for sound.
HOW: You agree to meet the "talent" at a pre-determined location in the NYC area, and record the shot(s). If shooting on an HVX, the media should fit on a single 4GB card and be burned to a DVD-R for 2-Day FedEx delivered to Portland on our FedEx account. If it's an HV20, we'd have to discuss how the media would be delivered. We will NOT be present for the shoot. It's up to YOU to get the necessary shot(s) with the solo talent.
REQUIREMENTS: Please be professional in demeanor and appearances. We don't need a completely seasoned professional, but you must know what you're doing. Proper framing, exposure, and focus with GOOD clean audio are a must. We don't want to see a wobbly boom dropping into frame if a shotgun mic is used, nor do we want to see a sloppily placed lav mic on the talent.
WHEN: This would need to happen sometime in the next couple of weeks.
PAYMENT: $100/flat. I know this isn't a lot of money, but it shouldn't take more than 30-45 minutes (+travel) of your time for the shoot. We can discuss media/taxi fare.
