If Scarlet can overcome the rolling shutter issues, I'd certainly go that way if possible in your shoes. My EX1 was a corporate purchase, and the name on the camera was important, as was the shop it came from.

Scarlet already overcame the rolling shutter issues. Red One build 16 shoots 120fps with no wobble and Scarlet 1.0, before specs were announced to have changed, was slated up to 180fps bursts. We might even be getting 200fps now, who knows.

Do you shoot bare at all times or do you use adapters?

RED has not overcome rolling shutter issues. They have been imporved, but not eliminated. I have no need for adapters at this point.

I guess maybe not perfect, but it's been a while since I heard someone complain about their shutter. And being able to shoot 120fps says a lot.
