HD/SDI Output ???

Hey. I wonder whats the compression you get, conecting your hpx170 trough a Blackmagic card (or similar) by using the SDI output.

As we all understand the compression used by the p2 cards is 4:2:2 with independent frames (correct me if im wrong). So i wanted to know how much its the improvement of the image capturing uncompressed and if the Latitude grows.
 
i dont think there is any X:Y:Z issue. what you avoid is the DVCProHD CODEC hit. so youre ingesting what the camera sees.

everyone i have heard who captures straight to SDI says the quality improvement is worth the effort.
