HD-SDI monitor

anyone running either the Panasonic BT-LH80W or the BT-LH900 with the HPX?

I'm looking at the LH80W cos of the price point, but just wondering if anyone has any experience with either of these...For the price, the 1700W is great, but not portable enough for some shoots.
 
I just bought the Panasonic BT-LH80W a month ago. I bought the sdi option to go with it. I love it, it's a great complement to the hpx500. I also have an Ikan hd monitor and the panasonic puts it to shame. It should for the pricetag though. The focus assist in red is awesome. My clients love it also. I find myself using it even when I don't have to! I also bought the portabrace body armor for my hpx, it's tight . It took a minute to get it on, I haven't looked at the Kata stuff, so I can't compare.
 
the Panasonic BT-LH80W absolutely rocks - great image, pixel for pixel option, focus in red, and waveform - truly outstanding monitor. After I bought one i liked it so much I bought 5 more ( not really - but i love it)
 
One question, to get that nice behabiour with the panasonic is it necessary to use (and buy) de the SDI output.
