I am going to record 4.4.4 to a PC installed with Blackmagic decklink 3d in a studio set up. Looking for a 60-75 feet long HD-SDI cable.. Any recommendations?

thanks

Any SDI cable is fine. Don´t sweat it. There is a lot of marketing voodoo shmoodoo though.

Sidenote: There is a guy in Japan that make pretty exclusive audio cables from vintage copper, silk andwhatnot. 3 ft come for over $1000.
They tested them with an audiophile audience and run them against "cables" made from coat hangers.

No audible difference. Go figure.

I used to shoot tethered to a black magic intensity card. Avoid power cords from lights etc. When you're near them cross them at right angles.

as long as the cable is RG 6 or says 3g rated you'll be fine. with that said the only problem i have found on older cables useally is how the head is connected. i have had problems with compression BNC head, but most companies you buy from will have crimp on Heads. :)
