BTW, I didn't mean, "No," it can't shoot interlaced. I meant DV doesn't automatically mean that it would have to do interlaced.

I understood you, but there is no need of using a XL2 or a DVX100A to test the difference from i and p. They only shoot SD and the HD100 also shoots SD in both i and p.

No Spartacus. They have a funny way of talking and they invent some comic words you can't find on the dictionary, but they do a mess with grammar rules. I'll give you an example: they say "Isto é para MIM fazer", tranlated to english it would sound like - "this is for I to do".
