Hello My name is Vinnie Urgo. I am 28 years old and I have been a freelance camera operator for 5 years. I have worked for many different projects over the years. I have been working full time as camera operator for ski movie companies during the winter and am looking to expand my resume. I am really into NOT freezing my ass off all day and learning some studio work as well as different types of outdoor filming. I want to do shorts and features as well as operate steadicam jibs and more heli shots (those are my favorite!!!!). I have a desire to gain leverage in the video industry by becoming more efficient and filming at a more professional level.
I have worked with 16mm, DV, HD, and stills. I have experience editing and organizing shoots. I feel like lighting can be something I can improve on as well as audio recording. I spent some time at Montana State University studying film before I had the unfortunate situation of losing my house and belongings in a fire and have not returned to obtain my degree. Partly because I feel like experience is the best education.
At this point I am working full time for RAGE films shooting an HVX and will be available to travel and shoot and edit in the spring. I reside in Jackson Hole, WY, Bozeman Montana and Minneapolis, MN.
If you wish to contact me feel free to call 651 472 2426 or visit www.vinnieurgo.com and email me at vincenturgo@gmail.com
Thank you so much!
