HD Footage has horizontal glitches

Ok so, I have search and not found a good answer.
When I play back my footage and if there is movement in the shot, I get little horizontal glitches in the footage. But if I go frame by frame, nothing. If I export the footage and render a quicktime or flash file, it shows up there too, unless I play it back frame by frame. Same thing with tiff file sequences.
I have tried mixing down the footage to DNxHD hoping that it was just the DV100 codec, but no, same thing.

Take a look at my reel, the shot where the camera pans back from the nose of the plane really demonstrates this.

When I make a DVD, everything looks fine. What the hell is this!

same issue

I have had the same issue... when I play back clips imported from p2 cards there looks to be a "ripple" moving vertically on camera moves.

Any idea what this is or how to get rid of it?

10:1 it's your video card.

I can't see your reel (pdsage) to look at it here. The flash video won't load.

Are you going to the link? Just click on the link and it should open the page on my site with the flash video embedded in it. Then just activate the control to play.

Weird. There it goes.

I didn't see any of the artifact in your video.

I know what you're talking about, and I've seen it in my stuff too. I usually shrug it off, since it only exists inside Avid for me. It has to be something with the video card.

Thanks Gordon, So I guess if people are viewing it and the see something wierd, its just thier video card. The strange thing is that I have viewed other peoples reels on my computer and no problems present. ?

Not sure. I know that when I just watched your reel, I didn't see the artifact you were describing. And I have seen that artifact before on my own stuff as well, that other people haven't been able to see.
