HD footage from AE in quicktime is stuttering.

Newbie to hd. Shot some footage with a Canon t3i in 60p (59.97) 1280 x 720. Placed footage in after effects using the same format. I rendered footage output settings with same (59.97) 1280 x 720 for quicktime. compression settings were photo jpeg or jpeg2000. View footage in quicktime and it appears slow and stuttery. Any suggestions?
 
Is this an Avid question or AE? If you view it in QT player and it stutters I doubt Avid will make it better.....
