Who's going to the High-Definition Expo in Chicago This year?
I saw that the passes were over $100 dollars but if you registered before lastnight, you can get in for free. I didn't register in time, so it looks like I'll be forking over the 127 to go check out the new stuff. If anyone missed NAB, this might be the next best thing. Panasonic will be there showing off all of their High-Def products.(i would love to see Red Camera, but i dont see any sign of them showing up.) I had no idea you could score free passes (my film school sent out a massive e-mail about it lastnight....a little late dont ya think, since if i registered lastnight i would have gotten in for free?)
Let's see who's going.
Will Barry be there? (I hope, but doubt it.)
Will Juan and his hydra be there? (I hope, but doubt it.)
Will Red be there? (I hope, but i doubt it.)
Sony is setting up a big thing where they are going to lewt everyone fool around with their new XDCam. (which means be prepared to debug all of the nasty rumors the sony guys have armed themselves with inoder to defeat Panasonic. No...the p2 card wont stop working if you put it in your pocket. Yes, the hvx200 camera shoots in real high definition. No, panasonic is not getting bought out by Sony....etc)
Who's all going? See you there!
