Just wondering if hvx200 dvxproHD 720p footage edited in FCP would look much different on an HD DVD. And also can the macpro 8 core do HD DVD's?
 
I just realized this could be a very dumb question I looked into it and it appears that they dont even make HD DVD's any more........
 
actually it looks pretty good on HDDVD, and if you have a player (I'm still using mine), DVD SP will burn HDDVDs on a standard 4.7gb disk (about 20 minutes worth).

mostly my Toshiba is now a somewhat expensive upconverting SD-DVD player.
 
We thought our HD DVD footage looked so much better the blu ray discs we created in Encore CS3 from the same footage.

I am trying to do this exact thing. I have a short that someone wants put on an SD DVD for playback on an HD-DVD player. CAn someone walk me through this, or is it just a question of burning the disc with the HD file on it, and it will automatically work?
