HD-CRT from samsung

Looks very interesting. I´m in the same boat as you when it comes to LCD´s. Why pay soo much more for inferior picture quality?
I do hope this TV will be sold in Norway as well

Obviously, we are short on spec.

But getting to the CRT might be a problem...

One route I could see, is assuming the Samsung has component, and then using a an EDIUS card / system to supply component to the monitor.

I don't know of any HDMI solutions - which might be preferable.

Soarprod, is this something you have seen?

For the US I believe there are already options, but for the uk this is pretty unique.

Havent seen it in person but will be checking it out - I already have a dell 24" LCD HD monitor and a Sanyo LCD 720p projector.

One HDMI solution would be to get a Kona card or whatever the hell they are, with HD-SDI output, and convert that output to DVI with an another adapter (seen them but can't remember the name), and of course the DVI carries the same signal as HDMI so you could just buy an DVI-HDMI wire and use that.

Looks very interesting - especially the price. UK should join EMU too, it's time to be done with all this currency exchange nonsense...

I've got a sanyo Z4 LCD 720p ...

Have you put your HVX material onto there?

I have some footage from other ppl on here and I've put some of the wolves stuff on the Z4 and it looked great.

I have the Z2 - it doesnt have the best contrast but the HVX footage looks nice - I like my dell 24" more for that fact that it is 1080p.
