Hi all. I went to the HD convention at universal the other day and litterally every single booth had the P2 Camera. I saw the canon 2 times. they had the H1 at one of the booths and xl2 outside on a jib.
By the way I also attended the TV academies HD and new media convention at the Tv academy yesterday. Durring the seminar on hd they had a pannel of 6 reps from all the camera makers on stage talking about the cameras and they showed footage form each one. The canon H1 had the most impressive looking footage but ofcourse they had a top dp using about $30,000 worth of extra gear and was set in a bar wich had a very ritch color and lighting sceam to work off of. The P2 camera footage was shot by an asian director that was in to very high key with a very overly posted look.
