HD Cams test...cinelike missing

Hi..
i've been to the HD-Day yesterday.. The four hd prosumer cams were presented and compared: JVC, Canon, Sony, Panasonic.

I had the chance to have a look to each one, browsing the menus and testing them... Maybe just the JVC can compete with panasonic cause of changeable lens. Canon also has got this feature but in my opinion cannot compare due to its fake-like progressive scan and consistence of image (i generally dislike Canons to be honest...).
Sony has great detail but still hdv...

The HVX model presented was a NTSC (i'm in italy, PAL) version, since the PAL hasn't been delivered yet.
I was browsing the scene file and i noticed that HVX misses the Cine-like Gamma. I was able to test Cine-like_V and Cine-like_B but "normal" cine-like was missing. I think this is a great loss for the new cam if will be confirmed..
Maybe that was a prototype...maybe not..
anyone has news about it?

My understanding is there are 8 gama modes:
Please excuse the Janglish

NEWS: The for reporting collection of data which held down the white flying for image information retention.
HD NORM: The gamma setting which is suited for HD photographing.
LOW: Inclination of the brightness section is loose low. Tone and the sharp contrast which have the composure.
SD NORM: The setting of of the normal for SD the DVX100 series is succeeded.
HIGH: Inclination of the brightness section is urgent low. Bright tone and soft contrast where gradation of the dark space was expanded.
B.PRESS: From LOW contrast furthermore sharply.
CINE-LIKE_D: The gamma curve which is finished in image of movie feeling of the D range priority.
CINE-LIKE_V: The gamma curve which is finished in image of movie feeling of contrast concern.

This list is from Panasonic's website (japan) here

I am a dvxuser.com member but not a DVX user, so, if all we know that HVX is a HD version of DVX, I ask you DVX guys if there is any difference(s?) now with this:

So, if there is or there isn't "normal" Cine-like (?)

What's this that Ed said to us?
If there is Cine-like_V and Cine-like_B, what's the problem?

I agree... Cine-like (without v, p , d or anything) is my preferred look when I shoot in the DVX. Not having that preset is really a great loss. However, I believe there's always the possibility of "tweaking" the parameters on the camera's setting in order for it to look like the original cine-gamma... r maybe not.

Emanuel, Cine-gamma "normal"was the original cine look of the dvx100 (without the "A"). When they upgraded to DVX100A, the camera came with different cinegamma settings. However, you could still set the gamma to "cine-like" (it still looked different than the original dvx cine look , which, for me, was better).

What we can do now is wait for a full test to come out and see the results...

hey man, just sent you a PM, i see you are from Italy, i'm going to be spending some time there this spring.

Just so I'm clear on this, what are the two Cine Likes (D and V) on the new one goign to be like? Significantly different from the Cine Like feature on the DVX?
