What am I missing? On editing my HVX's DVCPRO HD (16:9) clips in FCP v5, the browser describes the images as being 960 x 720, when they're shot 720pN HD. They are displayed 16:9, and look great, but I'm stumped why they're described as 960 x 720 (a ratio of 4:3) in the browser's "Frame Size" column. Thanks.

This is absolutely right!
DVCPRO HD is an anamorphic format, even though the HD specs are not.

Yes, this thing also stumped me when I first shot and edited Varicam material. Since then I have come to just leave it alone as long as it comes out right when you print the final quicktime movie. However, I didn't know that DVCProHD was anamorphic. Does that mean that if you use an anamorphic lens on an HVX it will be double anamorphic?
