HC series [color]

I was running off some tapes on a HC5. In the playback mode, there's the text [color] above the stop button on the screen. Since I don't have a manual for this cam, I was wondering why it would show up on some tapes and not others. I needs a clue.

It turns out that somehow the x.v. color was turned on while shooting a few tapes. Nothing I can do about it now.
