I am just driving along to my next job when there they were: the cops, hazmat, corvettes... so what could I do but grab my trusty DVX100a and get busy! (I actually beat the news guys there. not on purpose :) Turned it on (f1), pressed autowb, autofocus, and started shooting... Didn't find out what happened till way later. So I didn't know what to shoot, I just went about it haphazardly... Oh, well, live and learn.

It's pretty cool what people will let you do with a camera. The police were letting me go anywhere I wanted, which was nice, and I appreciate that. Behold... the power of Panasonic :) Too bad I didn't know what was going on.

Apparently, some dude had some pepper spray and some customers freaked out when it suddenly a-sploded. :)

I had a "cheeseborger" in Billy Goats the other day ... I was sooo tempted to say "and a .... diet pepsi please"

But ... Thats what tourists do. :P

you shoud've done it, that way you could have that conversation with that drunk guy who says "new in town? for 10 bucks I can get you on top of the sears tower" :)

When I click on you link above, it takes me to:
file:///private/tmp/501/TemporaryItems/AOLTemp.html

Then I get a message that says:
"The request is not valid in the current state"

Are you the same guy that posted footage of a close up of his wife's nose? I had the same problem with that one (I never saw it, only read the description from others' posts).

wierd.. I have no idea why you get this. i checked in several locations on dsl and cable but not dialup and it worked great. i wonder if its an AOL problem r u on AOL? have you tried right clicking and save target as?
i just dont know its wierd...

Interesting that you mention cable and DSL. I'm just switching from one to the other and I tried it on both. No, i'm not on AOL. Just TimeWarner cable (prior Verizon DSL). Oh well, I'm using the most version of Quicktime and occasionally get errors, so why not get the same with Windows Media Player. If everyone else is getting it, the fault is with my computer.

If you are getting that odd error when you try to view the video, right click the link on MAC or PC and download it to your disk first, then view it.
