unfortunately i was working with a tight deadline coinciding with a print article that runs tomorrow. i would have loved to had have a good 2-3 more days on it. i might go back and change a few things if i have time to. my plan is to continue following their relationship until he releases the bird back into the wild.

hope you enjoy it.

Holy sh*t! when the hawk catches the squirrel...

Good work. I also liked indian summer, makes me wanna go ride. stupid flats and bad weather!

Really well done. I'd heard of the sport but never knew it took so much just to be able to get a bird, much less train one.

thanks guys! one cool thing, a photographer never came out for any of the hunts or anything. so i pulled some stills from the video and they were good enough to run full page for centerpiece. all the stills in the article are from the hmc150.

that camera was the perfect camera for hunting. the 5 seconds pre record was a life saver!

Very nice...even on my crappy work monitor.

Question...What kind of rig did you use during the handheld shots?

most of the handheld was either handheld or the indirails shoulder mount. glad you guys are diggin it. i was kinda scared that it was going to be too long and would get boring.
