Aloha all,

Thought this may be a good place to find someone with a P2 card or FS-100 to rent. If not can the admins tell me where to post?

In any case its a PBS doc on the 5 Ali'i Trusts. Shooting Varicam and HVX200. Next 4 weeks. Give me a ring if you got it and interested in renting. Or if you know a local place that sells. Still waiting for the Cineporter.

Just a little update.. we may push the dates for Hawaii up as we seem to have hit dates where everyone is on holidays or off doing something else.. If we dont get another 10 or so signups in the next couple days we will push it... and of course those couple of you that have pre-registered can either push it to then or get a refund.
 
excuse my ignorance but........ what is a "mixer 17th" night for people that care to attend to network. ?????

I have not sign up but I'll propbably be there regardless of the dates. Any chance to have the camp on weekend days? Also for people coming from aother Hawaiian island or if you are planning to visit other islands there is a fare war between airline now with the new airline MESA (igofly.com) selling one way ticket to Ohau or any other hawaiian destination for $39. Very, very good.

Awesome! This should work out the best for almost everybody.


The UH Film School will be back in session, production companies will be back from summer break, everyone will be back from the summer film festival circuits, tourist traffic will be down which means better prices for everyone on Hotels, Cars, Food...

I was just nearing the finish of all my Hawaii vacation research... and was about to book a hotel and airfare, when I decided to double check everything here. I'm glad I did!

I had my wife all ready to go to Hawaii -- and I was gonna' fit in Bootcamp. Guess we'll go someplace else... maybe we can swing October!

well me and Evin are still going to Hawaii for those dates... so if you do decide to go maybe we can all go for a drink somewhere.
 
Hmmm, that would be fun.

Do you know if there will be another Bootcamp somewhere else between now and October... or is Hawaii next?
 
Hey Jerrad, you guys coming here for vacation or location scouting? Would be great to grab a beer with you guys even just at the beach. Or the friendly neighborhood strip club... Just kidding. When my college friends would come down that's what we'd do. "Talent scouting."
