Im having trouble printing my video to tape in Vegas 4.0.
Here are the project specs and what happens when I try:
23.976 fps avi file > selected "print to DV tape" > add 10 sec of color bars > clicked ok > file is rendered and then begins printing to tape > my camera is in sync with Vegas so it begins to automatically record > color bars come up and record to DV tape for 10 seconds > AFTER THAT MY VIDEO SHOULD COME UP BUT IT DOESNT. Instead I get the same regular blue screen one would get before you hit play. While this is happening the camera is still recording and the computer is still saying its printing to tape but its not. I even tried high lighting the video on the timeline. Nothing.
The second time I tried it I even rerendering the whole 23.976 file back to NTSC compatable 29.976 which added the 2-3 pulldown. Then I repeated the same steps above. Unfortunately the same problem.
Whats going on?
