Having to buy a B camera for a job and the contenders are...

Absolutely do not try to pair a GH2 with an AF100 unless you'd like to spend a lot of time in post trying to get the footage to match.

Not true at all. If you are inter-cutting different shots sizes, match them a little and shoot properly it's quite easy to match them in post. Much easier than trying to match a Sony or Canon. I'm doing this often now and becoming quite proficient at it.

Examples?

Close enough right here and you can get closer with a little post tweak.

I don't agree. That's one screenshot. I tried those exact settings and it was not close like that screenshot.

I just posted a few above you with two examples of inter-cutting the GH1 with an AF100 as an A/B cam interview setup. It's absolutely possible when going from wide to CU.

Barry also gave some settings for matching the GH2/AF-100 color profiles that worked very well for me. Got the AF-100 footage 95% of the way there, then 3 way color corrector got me the rest of the way. It's not perfect, but it's very acceptable.
