having problem with sdhc card importing into fcp 7

Hello good people,
My editor is having a problem with a sdhc card for a feature i directed. It's a 32gb Transcend card. Bought it from B&H so doubt it's a fake.
The footage is there on the card. But FCP 7 won't import it. Says that some files aren't formatted correctly.
When we put the card into the computer - all the files are there and they play fine. When I put the card back into the camera though it says it won't play some files towards the end of the card. Again - when i look at the card on the computer - those files are there and play fine.
It would be a real pain in the ass to have to shoot those scenes over.
Does anybody have any suggestions for trouble-shooting. I'm continuing to read what I can on the net.

What camera? Do you always format in camera? If they play fine on computer why don't you transcode then bring into Final Cut?

The camera is the pan gh2. yes it was formatted in camera.

Sorry, Log and Transfer won't work for that camera. No plugin for it. You need to use MPEG STREAMCLIP or Compressor to conver.
