Have you heard of Safer Seas Video Supply?

I will make a possible purchase from them. Just wondering if there is anything I should be aware about this place. Never heard of them until I did a search for an AT-4073a. I'd purchase from BH but they are out of stock.

DO NOT USE THEM! I have heard that they are bankrupt. Go to http://www.resellerraitings.com and do a search for the product you want to buy - then you can see the feedback from users that have shopped from the sites you find.

EVS doesn't have the 4073a online but I will give them a call, they might have it but just don't have it listed on the website. Thanks also to the previous poster about the heads-up.

How can they still sell while going Chapter 11? Is that even legal?

Yes indeed. The whole point of chapter 11 is to keep the business operating.

Wow thanks for the heads-up on that one. I ended up purchasing the AT4073a at EVS and got it in the mail yesterday! Quicker than expected too. The guy at EVS sold the mic to me for lowest price he could find by a competitor, matched it and gave me free shipping. The price was the same as the Safer Seas price.

Always a good thing to go with a company that will be around for a long time.
