Have you ever matched Af-100 with Nikon d7000 footage?

Hey guys,
i was wondering if somebody outthere has ever matched the footage from d7000 and Af101. I read a lot of footage mixed from Panasonic and Canon 5d but i have never read about nikon.

thx

I do this rather a lot, and for the most part the cameras match well enough for my purposes. Unfortunately neither camera is in front of me right now so I can't tell you what specific profiles I'm using, but:

I'm typically shooting a loose master on the AF101 with a Sigma 17-50 ƒ/2.8 lens (via a Nikon adaptor), with the D7000 giving me a tight mid/single with a Tamron 70-200 ƒ/2.8. I'm running fairly flat profiles on both cameras; I soften the AF101 rather to help match the look of the D7000, but for the most part I find the shots are so different nobody seems to notice colour shifts. There are colour shifts (broadly: Panasonic looks green compared to yellow Nikon), but they're fairly controlled.

One thing I find helps is dialling in manual white balances. If memory serves I tend to set the Nikon a couple of hundred Kelvin warmer than the Pana.

It works. You'll need to do some testing, and if you're changing lighting environments often you'll curse the idea of heterogeneous camera gear, but for my purposes I've no problem intercutting D7000 & AF101 footage. The trickier camera to match up has been the HMC151, not so much for colour but for 'look.' It's far more contrasty than the other two.

I'm veryhappy that you tested it! Do u have any clip on vimeo or stuff like that?
I guess that the only limitation is the fact that you have to shoot just in 24 p cause the nikon right? Or do you match even different bitrate?
Thx mate, i really appreciate
