I am probably the stupidiest being using the hack

I am using ptool 3.36 and am now in increment 11 with file name gh1__141.bin

Now i downloaded ptool 3.37D so i loaded original panasonic gh__132.bin

1. should I check version change ?
2.if yes what increment number should I place?
3. should I check compare patch?
4. what file name should I start with this latest ptool 3.37D?

I cannot seem to make it work and I want to move forward to the new ptool:undecided

Thanks again for your patience

I haven't done the hack yet but it looks that the modified firmware should be saved as, GH1__132, or whatever number you want to put.

1. Yes, for the first time you use the latest PTOOL you do everything just as you did with the earlier version but also check the version compare patch.

2. The next available number = 12

3. Yes

4. Filename should be the same as before = GH1__133.bin

The next time after having installed a firmware with version compare hack you dont have to increment version number anymore as the firmware is now hacked againts checking it.

Finally thanks Jasketti..... so next time I need not check version change no more increment numbers.I just check the compare patch? the file number continues upward again?

Thanks so much again have been stuck for days....whew
