Have a new problem

I'm still fairly new to the final cut express 4 that came with my Apple laptop, but I've downloaded video from my dvx to final cut three times without any problems, than today I go and do the same the videos playing in the capture now window and when it's finshed in the the video is not in the ben an nowhere to be found.

secondly when the large window that's up showing the video being capture get's shutdown it says something like

Audio captured only, video something like not captured, not set or readable.
It's captured the audio and not the video.

Not sure what's going on because Ive not had this problem before. Any new video that I've captured in the current Bin has always shown up before and now it's not. Only audio files.

I'm missing something please help. Thanks.

You may have captured only audio on your last attempt. The description is too vague to troubleshoot. Try including what the dialog box actually says as well as software version, computer info and operating system information.

One other thing to check is whether or not the footage you captured can be found in the //final cut pro documents/capture scratch/name of project/ folder. If it is, just drag it into a new project and away you go.

I have been fighting with this all day and still nothing. How the video is appearing in the capture window and still not downloading to me is a mystery.

Selected video disabled? What is this? how is it not selected with it showing in the capture window?
